Meet Beth

About Me
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). I have been working in the field of mental health since 2016, and my experience includes crisis assessment and counseling, collaboration in an outpatient drug and alcohol treatment center, and working outpatient therapy. I strongly believe in accessible, affordable, and inclusive mental health care. I value integrity and embody the practices I utilize in session. I am passionate about learning new techniques and acquiring more knowledge about all things therapy, human, earth, and emotions. I regularly have open conversations about the therapeutic process and value my clients' needs and values so that they can get what they need to out of our sessions.
What Therapy Looks Like With Me
I blend EMDR, IFS (parts work), and somatic techniques to connect with and understand my clients' symptoms, history, and values. Sometimes the work is slow and raw, sometimes we joke around, sometimes I challenge you, and other times we spend more time talking about relationships or other current stressors. No matter what though, my clients are the ones that lead the way. My main goal is to understand you and your experiences. We go in the direction you need to go in. We sit together in honesty, curiosity, and compassion to allow your inner knowing to be found. And that is how healing happens.
A Bit About Me
(outside the therapy room)
I live with my husband, daughter, bonus son, and 2 kitties, and we love spending time near lakes and rivers. I’m currently learning the art of growing flowers, fruits, and veggies — and am always singing, dancing, or laughing when I can. My life and my work are both grounded in connection, nature, and curiosity.
